Despre greci si tutun

Tudor: -If I want to buy a house here, it's expensive?
Costas: -Yes, my friend, very expensive!
Tudor: -But we have a global crisis, shouldn't the prices go down a little?
Costas: -Not here. We don't need money, here...
Tudor: -How come?
Costas: -We have the money. We don't want more.
Tudor:-...
Costas: -The crisis didn't hit us... a lot of greek money is in the black market... so...
Tudor: -But tourism...
Costas: -Last thing a man will cut is a holiday in Greece...
Tudor: -So if I want to buy a little house here...
Costas: -It's very hard. They might triple the price for you...
Tudor: -Why?!???
Costas: -For greeks here, the most important thing is the neighbourhood... the one who live next door to them... if you come and want to buy and they know nothing about you they give you a sky high price... but if a nephew comes they give the lowest price possible... they don't want money, they want peace...
Tudor: -Costas, tell me how come that Greece is in EU for such a long time and you still have outdoor advertising for cigarettes? In Romania we don't have that anymore! Shouldn't be the same law for everyone?
Costas: -Yes but remember, the greeks are the biggest tobbaco producer in Europe... and we smoke a lot... but slowly we started to forbid it...
Tudor: -You do in ten years what we did in two???
Costas: -Well, you have to go slow with the greeks, we like to smoke...
Costas: -You don't do things fast here... any government that does that falls the next day...
